Kayko Driedger Hesslein
Rev. Dr. Kayko Driedger Hesslein was born and raised in Calgary, receiving a Bachelor of Music from McGill University, and her M. Div. from the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia. She was ordained in the Eastern Synod of the ELCIC and served her first parish in Toronto from 2002-2007. She then received her PhD in Systematic Theology (with a minor in Christian and Jewish History) from Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, California. She has taught courses at Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary in California and currently is the William Hordern Professor of Theology at the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Saskatoon.
